WHAT IS THE POINT REYES REALITY INVESTIGATION CENTER?!

PRRIC Mission Statement

The Point Reyes Reality Investigation Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to the study of consciousness, perception, and the elusive nature of reality. Through workshops, classes, guest speakers, and immersive events, we provide space for inquiry, discussion, and discovery, for a community of seekers, scholars, and creatives.

Our mission is to explore the diverse ways in which reality is perceived, constructed, and understood—bridging neuroscience, chemistry, philosophy, psychology, art, and lived experience. We believe that investigating reality is not just an intellectual pursuit but a deeply personal and transformative journey. Whether through scientific exploration, contemplative practices, or artistic expression, we aim to support individuals in expanding their awareness, challenging assumptions, and deepening their connection to themselves and the world around them.

Meet the Team

David Gill

Lead Researcher

David Gill is a leading scholar on the life and work of science fiction author Philip K Dick. After a nearly twenty year career of teaching writing and literature, David left San Francisco State University to become head researcher at the Point Reyes Reality Investigation Center where he collects stories of the paranormal, organizes retreats and workshops at the High Castle vineyard, and works to inject weirdness into the body politic.

Paul Shelton

Videographer

After a series of strange and unexplainable synchronicities involving Philip K. Dick, Paul moved from Texas to the Bay Area in 2025. He is the co-founder of Sound Legacy, a family legacy film company that helps people preserve their life stories for future generations. A video journalist by trade, Paul serves as the lead videographer, filmmaker, and content creator for the Point Reyes Reality Investigation Center.

Jenna Lopez

Social Media Liason

Jenna Lopez is a net denizen, coffee aficionado, and animal lover. With a background in recreation and a passion for people, Jenna has spent the last 15 years working with diverse populations across California. When she is not helping to spread 'the good word of the weird' as the PRRIC's social media guru, Jenna’s interest in interpersonal dynamics also finds expression in her “Reverse Psychic."
